Susan Pitt, a South African artist, paints watercolours that portray the mix of mystical and everyday subjects that are part of her life. Definitely a 'spiritual being having a human experience', Susan's dreams, emotions, a highly defined love of Nature together with her unerringingly observant 'eye' create paintings that intrigue and capture the imagination.
With a great deal of life experience behind her, "Soul Portraits" are filled with thought-provoking imagery drawn from her chequered career. Here fairies, flowers birds and all manner of other images cavort across the canvases...often with each other.
Susan's paintings are filled with colour and movement, a mystical quality and a sense of peace and tranquility.
